2 Copas (2 Glasses) La Mancha 2016 Macabeo (Spain), $8.09-$8.99, 87 points, was a medium brass color with green highlights and clearing at the glass shallows.
Soft aromas of dusty citrus and the faintest notion of banana were okay.
Light-bodied with good acidity managed a rather stony flavor profile with a touch of cumquat.
Finished well on hints of kiwi, honeydew melon, the trailing cumquat, and a balanced 12.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with our honey fried chicken.
I bought this Spanish white wine at the Whole Foods of Bedford.
