Alamos Salta Argentina 2016 Torrontés White Wine, $10.99-$12.99, 87 points, was a medium gold color clearing at the glass edge.
Near aromatically mute with only soft floral and field notes making an appearance.
Light-plus body with fair acidity managed a ripe melon flavor with a hint of citrus and honeysuckle.
Finished well on the fading strait forward palate, an innocuously imperceptible petrol note, a touch of ginger, and an easy 13% alcohol.
Paired nicely with my unembellished grilled-cheese sandwich.
