Castellare 2016 Chianti Classico (DOCG), $18.86-$24.99, 90 points, was a NARS-STARWOMEN RED with a broad clear wine ring and light draping on the glass wall.
Aromatic cherry fruit, floral notes, and a touch of evergreen were excellent.
Medium-bodied with mouth-watering acidity and grainy, on the cusp, astringent tannin managed to satisfactorily deliver the nose onto the palate, and those with orange pekoe tea.
Finished dry, long, tart, tasty and with a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Mexican cuisine.
Always an excellent wine and wine label; so as having a table-setting gravitas few can compare to.
