Höpler 2013 Pinot Noir (Austria)

Höpler 2013 Pinot Noir (Austria), $16.99-$19.99, 88 points, poured a bright ruby red with a clear wine ring.
Smells of ripe red raspberry and loam notes evolved seamlessly into a perfumed red cherry.
Barely medium-bodied with good acidity and soft sufficient tannins managed to deliver enough cherry fruit flavor with a warm spice buzz to satisfy.
Finished long on Pinot Noir-specific grape, plum, spicy pepper, and a well-integrated 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our baby-back ribs.
