Château Monbousquet St. Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine

Château Monbousquet St. Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $51.49-$63.99, 94 points, poured from stem to stern an impregnable purple/red with a broad clear meniscus and stained arching sheets.
Herbal aromas were well nuanced with coffee, cocoa, cinnamon, and toasty blackberry.
Full-bodied with good acidity and firm, but surprisingly manageable tannins righteously translated the aromas throughout the palate.
Finished long on a full-throttled pepper spice assault bolstered by the bold 14.5% alcohol.
Varietals were 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Paired perfectly with my spiced rack of Australian lamb.
