Elk Cove Vineyards Willamette Valley Estate Grown 2017 Pinot Gris, $16.99-$22.99, 90 points, was a medium brass color clearing toward the glass shallows.
The bonny aromas of sweet apples, pear, and Lychee were quite pleasant.
Light-bodied with appropriate acidity showed subtle rather nondescript flavors nuanced ever-so lightly with those reflective of the aromas.
Finished well on the fading palate, soft pepper spices, a hint of lemon, and a spot-on 13% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Yellowfin tuna salad and chips fried in avocado oil.
