Dow's 10 Year Old Tawny Port, $23.99-$32.99, 92 points, poured a beautiful rainbow of coppery oranges and reds with fat, heavy, and sticky tears.
Profuse and potent smells of raisins, oak, whisky, and caramel were pleasant.
Full-bodied, creamy, acidic, warming, and easy to take, bestowed a calm composure to sipping this great wine,
Flavors were like a drinking a warm liquid crème brûlée with a shot of bourbon.
Finished pure and clean with an appropriate 20% alcohol and tinged with subtle mulling and pepper spices.
Paired perfectly with a variety of nutty and plain chocolates.
