Louis Jadot 2015 Pouilly Fuissé, $19.54-$24.99, 89 points, poured a medium gold color with green highlights and clearing way before the glass edge.
Smells were near silent, but shy floral notes, pome fruit, and the faintest vanilla were pleasant.
The medium body showed excellent acidity, and conveyed rather neutral flavors of kiwi, dragon fruit, lemon zest, ginger, and an overarching flintiness.
Finished well on the fading palate with residual, Chardonnay specific grape, trace vanilla, and a balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my fried Icelandic captain's cod.
