Niner Bootjack Ranch Paso Robles 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, $21.99-$25.99, 90 points, begins youthful with a broad clear rim, easing into colors of black currant and a core of dense ruby.
There's a lovely aroma of sweet cinnamon and cedar with hints of chocolate.
Black fruit are yet ripe and rich, yet balanced with good acidity and mild tannin (I would say that this wine is at its zenith), all of which are carried on a medium-plus body.
Finishing with a bit of tart red cherry, mocha, and spice, round-off a delicious red wine.
